Career Advice for Young Professionals











Many wannabe entrepreneurs have a big dilemma. Whether it would be wise to quit their cushy jobs with plumb salaries and jump into

untested waters. Whether the venture would be successful and will I be able to sustain myself for as long as its needed to set-up my business. The

conditions may not be true for a CXO level person who has decided to start a venture after working for 20 years but will hold true for someone who

has lesser years of experience. So how does one go about it.

Start-up Capital

Well of course, you can always start your business with a business loan or search for investors for your construction company, but before you can

do those things, you have to prove your worthy of their investment and show them that you have a sustainable plan for their money. You have to

understand that no one will hand you money so easily. Also, this can be a great time for you to study the competition, see which of your

competitors are doing well and which are not, and learn viable lessons for their success and downfalls.

What is a bias?

A bias is simply an inflexible belief about a particular group of people. This can be based on race, gender, political, and many other factors. Our

biases come from many sources. I have observed that many biases are simply a result of incomplete information about others. People can get rid of

their bias but it is a hard work, which is well is worth it. As a result, managers who have defeated their biases will find improved working relationships

with those they manage and improved morale and productivity at work.

Government and private sectors are major recruiting firms. Visit hospitals that surround you, medical centers and even individual firms that offer

medical services inquire about the vacancy and leave your documents there. Communicate with the human resource manager or the person in

charge of recruitment, to notify you when there is job opportunity of your career. Visit their advertisement board regularly and keep an eye on their

advertisement.

Mental Health nursing is one of the most demanding areas of nursing.A big percentages of people who are having health problem are suffering from

mental illness. Mental illness happens because of crisis in life like when person losses their partner depression comes in. Alcohol and drug abuse are

also a major cause of mental illness. The conditions of mental illness vary from one another and are very many, they include Psychological, personal

disorders, psychoses, neuroses and others.
